The new Samsung WA4000HH delivers convenience through clever design and exceptional performance by uniting local consumers’ needs and advanced technologies. The washer provides hand-washing and pre-washing features, and is equipped with an integrated transparent sink area at the top of the washer. Wobble technology and Diamond Drum has also been introduced to ensure outstanding performance, convenience, and efficiency.

Integrated but Flexible Sink for Easy Hand- and Pre-washing

The new WA4000HH’s Activ Wash+ showcases a transparent sink equipped with a dedicated water jet activated by an on/off button located at the right hand side that releases clean water directly into the sink for hand- and pre-washing purposes. The rubbing board pattern inside the sink enables easier hand- and pre-washing for heavily soiled clothes. The transparent sink is located between the door of the washer and the drum, allowing clothes to be easily and effortlessly moved into the drum afterward.

When hand- and pre-washing functions are not in use, the transparent sink can be lifted.

View and Open with Ease

To avoid loud noise when opening and closing, the lid has been designed to open and close smoothly. Featuring an extremely durable and scratch resistant tempered glass window, users can easily see the inside of the washer without having to lift the lid.

Intuitive Control

The control panel is located on the top of the back part of the washer to avoid potential water splashes when hand- or pre-washing clothes before a cycle. The location of the panel also makes it convenient to use and is easily visible to consumers. The panel’s dual cluster is designed to clearly indicate the diverse functions of the WA4000HH, making it easy and simple to use.

Wobble^TM Technology Linked with Diamond Drum

Samsung’s innovative Wobble^TM technology protects delicate fabrics from friction damage without compromising washing performance. The unique Wobble^TM pulsators generate multi-directional water flows that prevent tangles, twists and knots while performing an enhanced washing ability. Additionally, the increased cleaning power enables a thorough cleaning process while using less water.

The Diamond Drum’s smooth and diamond-shaped ridges are gentle on fabrics, delivering extra protection for delicate fabrics. Water exit holes within the diamond-shaped ridges, which are designed to a minimal size, also prevent fabric damage by preventing clothes from getting trapped in side of the holes.

Ahead of the Curve in Creating the Ultimate Immersive Experience

Ushering in a bold new era of immersive viewing, Samsung is blending its innovative Curved form factor with its UHD TV technology. The curved screen gives videos a stronger presence that does not translate on a flat screen, plus, a wider field of view creates a panoramic effect that makes the display seem bigger than it is.

The curved design enables a more realistic and true-to-life viewing experience with improved viewing angles, even in different viewing positions, so everyone watching has the best seat in the house.

To maximize the advantages of the Curved TV, Samsung developed the optimal curvature of 4200R, which provides the best picture quality from a normal watching distance of 3 meters to 4 meters.

The combination of the curve and UHD technology creates the ultimate immersive viewing experience, bringing images to life and providing spectacular color, clarity and detail. This is augmented by Samsung’s proprietary Auto Depth Enhancer, an algorithm that analyzes regions of images and automatically adjusts contrast for a greater sense of depth.It also gives a 3D effect without glasses.

Colour is further enhanced on these sets with Samsung’s PurColour™ technology in the U9000 Curved UHD TV, which reproduces colour for even more detail and expression. The number of colour adjustment points has been increased by a factor of seven.

In Southwest Asia, Samsung is introducing Curved UHD TVs available in 78-inches, 65-inches and 55-inches.

Introducing A Better and Broader Samsung UHD TV Lineup and Ecosystem for Ultimate Picture Today and Tomorrow

Samsung’s UHD TVs provide crisp picture quality because they have four times the resolution and pixels of Full HD. Additionally, all UHD TVs feature UHD Upscaing, which gives users great picture quality regardless of source material.

The proprietary technology converts Full HD, HD and lower resolution sources to nearly-UHD clarity through a unique four-step process that includes signal analysis, noise reduction, detail analysis and finally, upscaling. UHD Dimming technology also helps to further optimize picture quality by adjusting the brightness levels to create deeper blacks and purer whites especially for UHD.

As the category leader, Samsung is making significant investments and establishing critical partnerships to invigorate the market and expedite the delivery of a UHD ecosystem to consumers. This year, Samsung will release a UHD Video Pack that will come pre-loaded with UHD-quality content, including feature films from FOX and Paramount Pictures, on a one Terrabyte hard disk.

Samsung supports all of the latest UHD TV standards—including HEVC, HDMI 2.0, MHL 3.0 and HDCP 2.2—in an effort to build a holistic UHD ecosystem with premier content partners. Smart Experience: Now Smarter, Easier and Faster than Ever

Samsung’s Smart TV is even easier, faster and more fun to use. The new Multi-Link feature brings contextual multitasking to the big screen, enabling users to go deeper into their entertainment by splitting the screen into two and bringing related content alongside Live TV to enhance the viewing experience.

Consumers can populate the right-hand screen with contextual search results on the Web browser, YouTube and more for side-by-side enjoyment of related entertainment and information streams.

The new Smart TV experience is faster than ever, thanks to the upgraded Quad Core processor. In fact, the QuadCore Plus is up to two times faster and delivers quicker loading and navigation with an overall improved Smart TV performance. Turning on the TV has never been faster with Instant On. The TV will turn on soon after pressing the power button so that users can get to their entertainment faster.

The 2014 Samsung Smart Hub is more intuitive and enjoyable. With the new design, content is organized and easily accessible, giving people more control over their entertainment experience.Samsung Smart TVs consist of three panels: a panel for apps, a separate panel for Multimedia content and a NewsOn panel. Samsung’s New Audio Products Keep Life and Design in Tune

Samsung’s new audio line provides solutions to the growing demand in multiple audio sources. The new line includes the ultra-slim HW-H600 SoundStand, which can be conveniently conncected wirelessly to the TV. Innovative ShowCase and InnerCase Design Makes Food Organization Easy and Enjoyable 

BALI, Indonesia – February 18, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. today launched its new Food Showcase refrigerator at Samsung Forum 2014 held in Bali, Indonesia. Its innovative design provides smart separation in the refrigerator area with two layers of doors: the ShowCase for instant access of frequently used items and the InnerCase for ingredients that require longer storage.

The ShowCase section is four times bigger than a conventional home-bar refrigerator, allowing consumers to store and instantly access food items such as snacks and drinks. The InnerCase holds larger and fresh ingredients for a longer period of time.

“Consumers want quick access to stored items without spending too much time looking for them with the refrigerator door open,” said Mr. Rajeev Bhutani, Director – Sales Consumer Electronics at Samsung Electronics, India. “We learned this from research into consumer lifestyles, and combined the findings with our engineering and design expertise. The result was the perfect solution for every member of the family – the Food Showcase.”

ShowCase for Frequently Used Items

The ShowCase, which opens only the exterior door of the refrigerator, is designed to make organizing and consuming food as easy as possible for every member of the household. Once opened, people can find what they want with one simple glance. There are multiple customizable food compartments within the ShowCase: for sauces, drinks, snacks and others. Divided into three zones, each case could hold the following items depending on the needs of the family:

•  The Cooking Zone (upper level) – cheese and sauces

•  The Family Zone (mid level) – drinks and snacks

•  The Kids Zone (lower level) – food items for younger children and others

Separating it into zones allows people to effectively organize and find food items. The Kids Zone, for example, is placed at the lower level of the ShowCase to provide easy access for children. Additionally, the lower cases are detachable and can be placed directly on the table, further enhancing convenience. The ShowCase also features a Metal Cooling door that effectively keeps cooled air within the refrigerator.

InnerCase for Preserving Food

The InnerCase is designed to store food items such as vegetables, meat and fruit. Unlike conventional refrigerators with a single cooling outlet for each the freezer and refrigerator, Samsung's innovative All-Around Cooling evenly cools every inch of the fridge as well as the freezer. Cold air is blown out through multiple outlets at every shelf level. As a result, the refrigerator area keeps fruit and vegetables fresher for longer, and the freezer reduces freezer burn to maintain the quality of frozen food.

Ice & Water Dispenser

With its elegant stainless steel finish and clear, ice blue display, the Ice & Water Dispenser offers a simple way to stay cool. At the touch of a button users can enjoy a refreshing glass of chilled filtered water or fill a pitcher with cubed or crushed ice. The Ice Master is built into the door, delivering valuable extra space by freeing up two additional shelves in the freezer while still being able to store up to 2kg of ice. The detachable Ice Case is a freezer drawer that can be used to store extra ice and other frozen items. It can be quickly removed and used to serve ice without having to transfer the ice to a separate bowl.

Smart Digital Inverter Technology

Samsung also announced its Digital Inverter Technology incorporated into the Food Showcase, which improves energy efficiency and cooling performance by automatically adjusting the compressor across seven RPM speeds in response to cooling demands. Whether frequent opening and closing of the refrigerator door, a hot plate of food being placed inside, or changes to the outside temperature, the compressor reacts rapidly and provides cold air or slows down to reduce unnecessary energy consumption.  Thanks to this smart technology, results are big energy savings, less noise and exceptional durability. To back it up, the Digital Inverter Technology comes with a 10-year warranty.
